✨ We are bursting with pride to announce Labor & Delivery/Postpartum RN Jessica Willoughby as our latest Making a Difference (MADI) Award winner! 🏆

Nursing is more than just a job; it’s about showing up for your team and your patients when it matters most. Jessica’s recent nomination proves she is the definition of a health care hero.

🏃‍♂️ Going the Extra Mile: After finishing a 12-hour night shift in our Level II Special Care Nursery, Jessica stayed late to help day shift stabilize a preterm infant for transport.

✅ Double Duty: Immediately after, she jumped in to assist another newborn in respiratory distress—refusing to leave until her team had everything they needed.

🩺 Dedication to the Core: Despite staying late, Jessica was called back into work that same night. She showed up with a smile, ready to care for our tiniest patients once again.

👩‍🏫 A Natural Mentor: Even when exhausted, Jessica took the time to teach and guide our newer nurses, sharing her extensive clinical knowledge with patience and kindness.

🥇Going for the Gold at Madison Hospital!

In honor of the 2026 Winter Olympics, our leaders traded in their scrubs and suits to dress as athletes and flag bearers, visiting units across the hospital to spread some Olympic spirit. ❄️🏂⛸️⛷️🥅🥌❄️

Leading the procession was none other than Apple, our facility dog, who took her role as honorary torchbearer very seriously! 🐾🔥

From Team USA pride to global support, we are cheering loud for all the athletes competing on the world stage. 🌎 We may not be on the ice or the slopes, but we’re definitely winning gold in teamwork today! 🤝
