Lisa surprised me with a late birthday surprise. Dining 🍽 in the dark. Put on by https://wcblind.org/ at food by https://bobsbbqemporium.com/index.html
We ate a full 4 course meal blindfolded. It was to give insight into how it is for a visually impaired person to eat a meal. The food was great. Denise did a great job explaining how it is for a legally blind person to navigate the world and what the council does to help those who are blind or low vision. It was great experience . As everyone is thinking about making resolutions and may include health awareness. Just remember Mental health is a health issue as well. It's okay to admit you are not able to get through things on your own. Ask for help like you would for any other health issues.

Happy New Year to all. I hope you can find the light in the darkness. Went for a New Year hike 🚶‍♀️ which has become a tradition. Found a new park close in the middle of town. Look for things close to you that can bring you happiness, adventure and breath in some joy. Remember it doesn't have to be a big adventure to bring joy. It maybe something as small as calling a friend, petting your pet, meditation 🧘‍♀️, or whatever brings you joy.

Over the past 2 weeks, I have had the pleasure of traveling to SC to spend time with family, beach time. Saw Northern lights and a once in a lifetime comet. When returning to WI we went to take in some field art, beautiful fall colors, and wonderful animals. I saw the butterfly 🦋 shirt and thought it fit my 2 weeks. Use your eyes to discover the beauty around you and in you.
