🖤 Heather’s Story 🖤
“When I found Burn Boot Camp, I was 4 months postpartum with my 3rd baby (all under 4 years old at the time) and I was 30 lbs heavier than I’d ever been in my whole life. My body had done some pretty amazing things, but after 3 C-sections and not taking care of myself, my body was hurting. I had terrible joint pain, was tired all the time, and couldn’t even play with my kids without injuring myself.
A friend asked me to try Burn. I was terrified but agreed. I dropped my kids off in Childwatch, did my first Bodyweight Conditioning workout (iykyk 😅), then went back to my car and cried because I felt embarrassed that I couldn’t ‘perform’ like everyone else. But something told me to come back.
The more I showed up, met with trainers, and focused on healthy habits, the stronger I got. Within a month or two, I felt a crazy difference. A trainer once told me, ‘It’s not about what you can lose, it’s about what you can gain,’ and that changed everything.
Even though I’ve lost 23 lbs and gained muscle, I’ve gained so much more—friendships, confidence, and the ability to run and jump with my kids pain-free. I didn’t think I had a transformation story yet, but I realized I already do, and it continues every day I show up. My goal isn’t being the fittest—it’s having everyday fitness so I can keep up with my kids for years to come.”
