Not-weird question & answer: My doc recommended a c*ck ring for my ED. What do they do and how do I choose?

Erection/c*ck rings sit at the base of the p***s or around the whole shaft & balls and hold blood into the p***s to help you hold your er****ons so that you can enjoy penetrative s*x if you wish. Note: you can have or***ms without ever having an er****on!!!

These rings work best when you can get an er****on but cannot keep it due to underlying health conditions. They may or may not help you hold an er****on if your ED is related to stress, distractibility or performance anxiety.

There are many types and styles. For your first one, choose one that is stretchy and easy to put on, or one that is adjustable. This lets you experiment with what you like best.

You can put one on at any time; it will not interfere with blood filling the p***s as you get an er****on, it only prevents the blood from flowing out again right away.

We always recommend experimenting with new devices alone first so you get comfortable with using them before adding a partner and their potential expections to the mix. And if the first one doesn't feel good or fit right, try something different til you find the right fit.

On this Trans Day of Visibility we acknowledge the tremendous hatred being directed at trans folx through legislation designed to erase trans people from American culture. For many it is not safe to be visible. We are angry and working in the ways we know how to fight these initiatives and recognize that trans people deserve to be accepted on their terms everywhere and always.

A Woman's Touch is proud to be a trans-friendly business and we will not tolerate hatred and bigotry toward trans folx.

We are open today but our hearts are with everyone marching. We are donating a portion of today’s revenues to help the fight for trans rights and visibility.

With longevity comes the opportunity for an extended s*x life, which some seniors find by staying active and open-minded.

Today's NOT-weird question:

I'm a cis-female & really dry. My partner tells me it's because I'm not attracted to him any more, but that's not true!!! What's going on??"

Dryness happens for many reasons: medications can dry you out, peri-menopause definitely makes this more frequent, and if you're using a progesterone-dominant form of contraception - that can make you as dry as if you were peri-menopausal. Personal lubrication level is not a sign you're not attracted to your partner!

What to do?

First, take lots of time with warm-up play; massage, oral, hot talk, body rubbing...anything that helps bring lots of blood to your ge****ls.

Second, find a l**e you like and use it. There's no shame in using l**e, and the right l**e makes the difference between "ouch-sandpapery feeling" and ooh ahh,....

Try our L**e Sampler or find one you love by playing with our in-store testers.

Luscious slipperiness is always within your control with a good l**e. "

We marvel at the people who bravely walk in and say "I have a weird question". Their question is rarely weird; we get asked about almost everything! And we thank them for having the courage to walk into a store and ask a question that may be very personal, private, or embarrassing. What an honor it is for us to be on the receiving end of that and to be allowed to answer the question while making sure they know it's NOT weird and neither are they.

So grateful.

Cancer affects everything...both for the person living with it, and for those who love them. I am happy that health care providers send folks to us for help with their cancer-related s*xual changes and challenges. I am sad that there are not enough health care providers who are comfortable asking about s*xual wellness after cancer diagnosis and treatment.

There is a lot that's possible even after cancer has changed one's s*xual health. If you are a cancer survivor or have one in your life, ask for the help you need. Push for whole-person care so that you can have a rich and pleasurable life as a person who is living with cancer. And reach out to us if you have questions or need help. That's what we love to do!
