This is an emotional post, get out your tissues, dear readers.

This year has been one of the weirdest in practice since the pandemic (I didn't think it could get any weirder, but here we are). Economic instability and generalized overwhelm as we witness atrocities and horrors committed all around us has slowed things across the profession and it's been a tricky dance to navigate.

Our beloved Andie has had some personal health scares in her family and after some conversations and contemplation has accepted a position that aligns her values and will create more stability (and benefits) for her family.

She will be done at the end of the year and dearly missed.

I will be here and will expand my hours and play with my schedule to find something that feels balanced and viable for me and my family.

This space has become such a special space for me. This fall I signed up to swim 1000 laps and today; this very day, I will be completing it. 3 miles a week for 10 weeks.

I learned so much during this time. I learned how to blow bubbles... Really well. I learned how to flip turn and swim consistently for one mile.

Most importantly, I learned how to stay centered despite external conditions (think, sharing a lane with a really splashy person). And I've done this alongside and with the support of a close friend.

I have found great relief, care and centering in cold exposure & sauna. I've met some really fantastic people along this path!

How are you fairing this holiday season? The holidays, to me (Jaime), are dually a time of celebration for many. They can also be hard on many levels.

To add to it, doing more with less light is counterintuitive... Think about it; the sun goes down early, the body naturally produces melatonin and here we are out partying and mingling for the holiday party or festive event.

You know what is REALLY useful to support all the merriment? ACUPUNCTURE. It promotes circulation, reduces pain and promotes rest, which we will all need to make to all the holiday events and cheer!
