Ooooooweeee..! That was a rough 12 hour drive home and SOMEBODY let us know about it almost the whole way! 😮‍💨 You’d think with the way this little turkey is smiling and acting now that it didn’t happen, but I’m ratting him out! 🫩 But how can you stay mad at this face!?!

Apologies for not following up when the procedure finished, I promise I had all the intentions to! All is well and we are making slow and steady progress. Shriners Children's Greenville it was fun, see you back in early December to do it again. 😬 Rick Wooley thanks for tagging along, keeping dad company, and teaching me bad habits!

And to everyone who follows along and is reading this, thank you as always for your continued love, prayers, and support! We truly are blessed to have you! ✌🏻

The guys made it home a few minutes ago.
Procedure went well. The X-rays show slow but steady improvement in the scoliosis so the plan is to continue with the casting every 8 weeks for what seems like forever. 😅
We are grateful the treatment is helping but very much over the casts!! They are heavy, hot and smelly!! Thank y’all for the continued prayers and support! Please continue to pray that Kyler tolerates these next rounds as well as he has the first couple!!!

Just took boss baby back for round 4 of Mehta casting! He did pretty well throughout the long hike up here, but naturally was less than pleased at the lack of sleep and food/water when we woke up this morning. BUT, Mickey helped calm him down and away he went.

Prayers for a quick and uneventful procedure! 🙏🏻 💙🐝

And that’s a wrap folks!! Had a successful visit at Shriners Children's Greenville! Got all our super hero gear updated and replaced, caught up with some folks we haven’t seen in a while, had a wonderful dinner with Ani Samargian, and had lots of fun hanging out with Papa and big brother Hunter!

Now it’s time to hit the road and make the trek back home. We should get there in no time though because we’ve got this fancy map to miss all the traffic and speed traps, courtesy of Hunter! He even drew in “lots of gas stations” so we didn’t get stuck on the side of the road!! 🙌🏻

Sorry for the delayed posting, but heres a little update:

Checked in, wheeled back, dressed for the show, and just got pulled back now! Back at Shriners Children's Greenville for round 3 of Mehta Casting. 🙏🏻

Followed up last week with urology on Kyler’s hydronephrosis and it was “marginally worse” this last check up, but not enough to be concerned with. For now, the plan is to stick with the normal routine and checkup in 6 months again.

Also, side note…. This dude turns TWO at the end of the month!! What!?! Time sure does fly..!

Days 12 and 13 💙🐝

Our dude has had casts for his knees and ankles a few times…currently casting of his spine…hours and hours of therapy. He has only had 2 surgeries related to his AMC at this time. We know of at least one more that will most likely be in the next year or two.

Ps look at whats missing! He gets a break for couple of days before he goes for round two of casting.
