The Homestead, a 64 bed free standing personal care facility in Madisonville, KY is now accepting applications for one full time, or two part time industrial maintenance personnel.

Qualified applicants must:
- Have at least two years working experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent.
- Posses a sound working knowledge of all systems (i.e. electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, etc...).
- Be able to reason and allocate time appropriately.
- Be capable of seeing jobs/tasks through to completion.
- Be courteous to all residents and fellow employees.
- Be able to pass a background check as mandated by Cabinet for Health and Family Services (e.g. no assault charges or neglect).

• Passing residents medications
• Proper recording in MAR
• Taking off phone orders from physicians
• Periodical document preparation for physicians regular monthly visits
• Some scheduling of appointments for residents
• Obtaining and recording residents monthly weights
• Other tasks prn

Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working in an industrial maintenance environment. Working knowledge of systems (i.e. plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc.) is required.

1+ Year Experience- desired.
Training provided if needed.

Job Duties:

* Understand different dietary requirements of residents
* Assist the dietary supervisor in food preparation
* Sanitized according to dietary procedures
* Serving of meals to residents
* Loading food carts and serving meals
* Work along with the dietary manager to prepare meals
* Set up trays and deliver meals to residents
* Prepare items and menus for residents with special dietary needs
* preparation of menus to meet residents' dietary needs
* Preparing food trays, serving patients
* Procure food supplies and equipment for the dietary department
* Retrieve food trays from patients
* Serving meals to residents at the proper meal time
* Serve food in accordance with menu and dietary restrictions.
