Sometimes the heaviest weight we carry isn’t visible to anyone else. Being surrounded by people—or even family—doesn’t always quiet the ache inside. Your soul longs to be seen, understood, and held, and that longing is not weakness—it’s the human spirit reaching for something larger than itself.

I’ve written a reflection called “In the Quiet, the Soul Speaks” about navigating loneliness, embracing your disquieted soul, and finding small ways to invite peace into your life. It’s a gentle reminder that even amid noise—inside or out—you are deeply known and loved.

💛 Friends, I’m so excited to share something new with you… I'm starting a blog!

This has been on my heart for a while, and I finally felt the nudge to begin. My hope is that this space will be a little corner of encouragement—where I can share thoughts, stories, and reflections that meet you right where you are.

Life can be busy and overwhelming, but I believe we all need reminders that we’re not alone and that hope is never far away.

Being a widow is a journey no one prepares you for.
It’s not just the big moments that hurt, it's the quiet ones. The silence after the door closes. The empty chair. The late-night thoughts.

If you’re walking through this season, please know you’re not alone. There’s no timeline for grief, and no “right” way to carry it. Some days you’re strong. Some days, just getting out of bed is enough.

💛 If you or someone you know needs support, here are some free resources, https://www.widowingwell.com/ and Griefshare (at many local churches) are wonderful places to begin to build a tribe. It offers group sessions, local meetups, and tools to help process the pain in a safe and compassionate space.

You are not forgotten. You are not invisible. And you are deeply loved. We remain here if you need a bit more.

We want to provide comfort and guidance to the widowed women in our communities. No one teaches you how to survive in a world that turns upside down when your husband dies. There's no curriculum in pre-marital counseling on how to be widowed. We want to use our experiences to help.
