Hamish had his 2nd acupuncture treatment today. We are hoping that this, along with his seizure meds helps to reduce the frequency of his seizures. He was an absolute angel for both of his sessions.

We are so incredibly proud of our SIL Dan for being named Nurse of the Year @ Gillette’s Children’s Hospital!!!

He went back to school in his mid-30s for his second bachelor’s degree; this time for his RN. He aced his boards the first time he sat for them. All while still working to help support his family AND during Covid. It is so beautiful to see this humble man honored for the love & passion he brings to his career.

Congratulations and well done Dan!!!! We love you beyond measure!

Rep. Nancy Mace:

You are an elected official. You are not being paid to spew harmful, hateful words at children or their families. Spreading words of hate only makes you a magnet for more hate. And you are shocked that someone lashed out at you? I am not condoning violence of any sort, but what you send out to the world, comes back to you tenfold.

As you coddle your poor wrist, perhaps it will give you a chance to ponder the pain that you and your vitriol has inflicted on others.

Do you believe your constituents elected you to police where people urinate? You were elected to represent ALL of your constituents - and that includes all LGBTQIA persons. You are not in a club where you can pick and choose who you like, who you support. You have NOT upheld the oath you took when you were elected to office. You are a hate monger, plain and simple.

This is a brief synopsis of the selfless journey that my amazing daughter and her family have been through during the past 3 years. It is hard to put into words all that she has been through, but when you see the smiles on everyone’s faces, it leaves me so humbled.
