Spent the morning out at Union Cemetery putting up some head stones, and got us chatting about the importance of a cemetery plot. It has much more meaning behind it than the color or shape. It gives something to your family for generations to come. A place for family/friends to come visit, chat, and feel close to the loved ones they have lost. A quiet place to tell some stories or plant some of your favorite flowers. Each stone tells a unique story.

Mary Watson Lamielle of Green, OH, went home to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ; and the rest of her family on September 26, 2025.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Saturday October 4th at Solid Rock Fellowship, 10631 Kent Ave, Hartville, OH. Mary’s family will receive friends from 9:30-11am Saturday morning at the church.

James David “Jim” Ludwig, 77, of Louisville, Ohio, passed away peacefully into the arms of his loving Savior on September 23, 2025.

Calling hours will be held Monday, September 29, from 5–7 p.m. at the Stier-Israel Funeral Home at 917 East Main Street in Louisville, Ohio.

Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, September 30, at 11 a.m. at Grace Brethren Church, located at 6283 Market Ave. North in Canton, Ohio, with an additional hour of visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Jim will be laid to rest in Union Cemetery, Louisville, OH.
