More excited news! TBL welcomes Power Hour with Serena Jenkins!
Serena is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher who has been sharing her love of yoga over the past decade. Her teaching background includes instructing Restorative, Kripalu, Power and Vinyasa Yoga. Serena has taught within schools and businesses and believes that the practice of yoga should and can be accessible to all. Serena joins The Body Lab with the excitement of offering the potent practice of power yoga to the Manchester community.

She will bring TWO Power Flow classes to our daytime schedule starting in December.

This hour-long vinyasa class will create energy, stamina and vitality. We’ll first warm up the body before moving into a flow, swiftly linking sun salutations and standing poses with the breath. Strength building exercises such as planks and sit-ups are woven into the sequence as a way to build heat and tone muscles. Challenge is offered with the licensing and encouragement to respect one’s own personal boundaries of limitation. Curated playlists set the tone for this uplifting class, leaving attendees feeling strong, inspired and centered. We’ll conclude class with Savasana, a moment of rest to integrate the physical work into the mind and psyche. Though not necessary, some experience with vinyasa yoga is recommended.
