✨ATFO 2026✨

In 2024, I had the pleasure of competing in the Appalachian Trainer Face Off with a horse named Sonora! This year, I’m headed back next week for more and I’m so excited to see which horse I’m paired with this time around!

For those who don’t know, the ATFO is a 100-day challenge where trainers take an adoptable horse from Heart of Phoenix Equine and give them a solid foundation to help them find a forever home.

Something a lot of people don’t realize is that trainers cover all the costs of the horse's care out of pocket during those 100 days. I want to make sure this horse has everything they need to feel their best—from good nutrition to a comfortable stall—so I’m looking for some sponsors to help us get to the finish line!

Right now, I’m looking for help covering:
• Nutrition: Unbeetable Complete feed & quality hay.
• Stable needs: Sawdust for a fresh stall.
• Grooming supplies: Anything donated that the horse wears or needs (halters, fly masks, brushes, fly spray, etc.) will go with them to their new home when they get adopted!

Wow! I had an incredible day!

For the past few years I have really been wanting to learn how to drive (like an actual cart not just on the ground). Little did I know today would be the day.

I was lucky enough to get an unexpected lesson on a harness racer in training during his exercise today. Renee was so sweet and helpful. I really was not anticipating this session, but I am so grateful.

It was a dream come true! And yes we did get to do more than walk, we just walked by the people and paced when we got to the other side of the track
