3 tests to see if your low back is a ticking time bomb 👇

Most people wait for pain before they pay attention to their back.

These 3 quick tests catch problems early so you can keep lifting, running, and training without fear.

1️⃣ Sorensen hold – endurance

Face down, hips on a bench, legs strapped or held, torso off the edge.

Hold your body straight. 120 seconds or more – great endurance. Struggling early – your low back muscles are fatiguing fast, which is linked to future low back pain.

2️⃣ PVC hip hinge – control

PVC on your head, between your shoulder blades, and tailbone.

Hinge or push your hips back back.
➡️ All 3 points stay in contact – you are using your hips
➡️ Losing contact – you are bending through your low back and likely missing strength or stability.

3️⃣ Press up – mobility

Lie on your stomach.

Hands under shoulders, press your chest up, hips stay down.
➡️ Smooth, even motion – your low back extends well
➡️ Stiff, blocked, or pinchy – some segments are stuck, others are doing too much.

If any of these felt off, do not ignore it.

There’s still plenty of time to make an impact! Light of Life Ministries is currently in great need of winter essentials for the women and children they support — and every single item helps.

🧥 Most-needed items this week:
• New or gently used coats (all sizes)
• Hats, scarves, mittens, and gloves

Additional items always needed:
• Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels)
• Cleaning supplies (detergent, disinfectant, etc.)

📦 Drop-off through November 30
You can bring donations to our office anytime during business hours.

Together, we can make sure families facing homelessness feel cared for, supported, and warm this winter. ❄️💛

❄️✨ Help Us Spread Warmth This Winter! ✨❄️

This holiday season, Revitalized Performance is partnering with Light of Life Ministries to collect winter essentials for women and children in need. 💙

We’re kicking off our Winter Warmth Drive — and we’d love your help!

🧥 What we’re collecting:
New or gently used coats, hats, scarves, mittens, and gloves
Paper products (toilet paper, paper towels)
Cleaning supplies (detergent, disinfectant, etc.)

📦 Drop off anytime between now and November 30 at our office — let’s make sure every woman and child they serve stays warm and cared for this winter.

Together, we can make a real difference this season — one cozy coat, one roll of paper towels, and one act of kindness at a time. 💫

1️⃣ 20 single-leg squats to a bench
2️⃣ 20 single-leg calf raises

These two strength benchmarks assess your lower body control and load tolerance.

✅ Pass both = safer miles
🚫 Fail = increased injury risk

Tag someone rehabbing or starting a run plan.
