I am now listed in the Northshore Alternative Health Alliance directory—

If you are one of my previous or current patients would you please go to the directory link and write even the smallest review so that families like you can find me!

Thank you so so much for your support ♥️

I help families truly understand their baby’s feeding — far beyond latch or milk supply alone. My work blends medical training with a functional, whole-baby perspective so parents can finally gain clear answers about what their baby needs to feed comfortably, efficiently, and without distress.

Triple feeding is outdated, over-prescribed, and often times damaging to the feeding relationship.

The good news?
There are better options now.

I am absolutely thrilled to announce that exclusively formula feeding parents and babies are now eligible for insurance coverage when working with me!

I’m often asked my professional opinion on Moms On Call, so I want to be very clear.

As an RN, IBCLC and Infant Feeding Specialist, I do not recommend Moms On Call.

The program is rigid, schedule-driven, and behavior-based, and it does not reflect current evidence on infant feeding physiology, neurologic development, digestion, or lactation.

Babies are not designed to feed on universal schedules. Feeding needs vary based on gestational age, medical history, oral motor function, temperament, GI function, and family context.

Programs like Moms On Call can unintentionally contribute to:
• Feeding stress or aversion
• Milk supply disruption
• Missed feeding cues
• Increased parent anxiety or self-doubt

If you used Moms On Call and felt it helped you — that does not mean you did anything wrong. Parents do the best they can with the information they’re given.

My role is to provide individualized, biologically responsive feeding care — for all feeding methods and all feeding parents.

I hear this all the time:

“I’m not breastfeeding… and I know you’re a lactation consultant, but do you also help with ___?”

Yes.
And you don’t need to preface your message 💛

While RN, IBCLC are my clinical credentials, my role is an Infant Feeding Specialist.
Those credentials inform my care — they do not limit who I support.

I provide clinical feeding support for all feeding methods and all feeding parents, including:

• Breastfeeding, bottle feeding, combo feeding, pumping, exclusive pumping, and formula feeding

• Infants who are NICU graduates, including complex medical situations and the transition from NICU to home feeding

• Oral motor dysfunction and feeding coordination challenges

• GI concerns (reflux, “colic,” food intolerances, allergies, histamine-related issues, etc.)

• Orally restricted infants (lip ties, tongue ties, and post-release support)

And just as importantly — I care for the lactating parent, including everything that falls under those needs:
milk supply concerns, pain, inflammation, infections, hormonal shifts, mental load, and recovery.

If you are feeding a baby — you are exactly who I work with.
No disclaimers.
No apologies.
Feeding support is feeding support.

What you will NOT get when working with me ⬇️

❌ A rushed, checkbox-style visit
❌ “Just keep trying” advice
❌ Being told everything is normal when it clearly doesn’t feel that way

❌ A hospital-style lactation consult.
Full stop. That’s not my lane.

❌ One-size-fits-all plans pulled from a textbook
❌ Someone who only looks at feeding and ignores the whole mom, the whole baby, and the whole picture

I am the farthest thing from run-of-the-mill care.

My work as an Infant Feeding Specialist is deeply individualized, intuitive, and grounded in both clinical expertise and real-life experience.

Here’s what makes my care different:

I bring specialized, advanced training in infant GI issues, IGT, oral motor dysfunction, oral ties, and more — because feeding is never just about feeding.

✨ I take my time
✨ I look at the whole picture — baby, parent, nervous system, birth story, feeding history
✨ I assess oral motor function, tension, comfort, and regulation
✨ I don’t dismiss concerns — I translate them
✨ I create plans that actually fit your baby and your life
✨ I meet families where they are, not where they “should” be

If you’re looking for quick tips and a handout, I can do that,
but if you’re looking for thoughtful, thorough, honest support, that’s where I truly thrive.

This work is personal to me.
And I practice it that way.

Not basic care.
Not hospital energy.
Not surface-level support.

✨ Happy New Year ✨

New year.
Some brand-new babies, some “old” ones.
Same steady support over here.

January usually comes in hot — new parents, feeding questions, growth spurts, and a whole lot of “is this normal?”

If you need support, I’m here.

And yes.

𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 — 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀.

I left a visit today angry and heartbroken. The baby has been in obvious discomfort since birth. The mother has done everything right — brought her baby in week after week, voicing her concerns — only to be dismissed again and again.

If you know something isn’t right, don’t stop asking questions.
Don’t settle for “they’ll grow out of it.”
Don’t let anyone make you doubt what you see and feel every day with your baby.

Your intuition is not a guess — it’s the most powerful tool you have as a parent.
Keep seeking answers until your baby is comfortable and thriving. 💛

I wish pediatricians would understand that oral motor dysfunction and/or oral restrictions can lead to lifelong AIRWAY issues. We can prevent these issues by working on them now in infancy.
