Using a team-based approach to help members in our community and their loved ones who may be fighting depression, anxiety, and other challenges in today's world.

We’ve been taught to tough it out.
But toughness doesn’t heal, planning does.
Addressing your depression and anxiety means recognizing when something isn’t okay and choosing to respond with care, not denial.
Choose healing over silence. Make your mental health a priority today, Katie’s Way can help.

Monday Morning Reminder:

In a month where most people are focused on outwards love towards others, it's important to remember that love starts with YOURSELF. Self-love always comes first, and choosing rest, kindness and positive self talk are great ways to pour love back into yourself.

Monday Morning Reminder:

Box Breathing is an anxiety hack for when your nervous system goes into overdrive. The slow, deep breaths activate your parasympathetic nervous system, while holding the breath slightly can increase CO2.

-Slowly breathe in your nose for 4 counts.
-Hold your breath for 4 counts.
-Slowly breathe out through your mouth for 4 counts.
-Hold your breath again for 4 counts.

Repeat 4-6 times or until you feel yourself begin to calm.

Monday Morning Reminder:

OUR MISSION

The Mathis family established Katie’s Way to provide services that promote social-emotional development, prevent development of mental health challenges, and address social-emotional problems that currently exist.
