💬 Patient Testimonial – Bariatric Surgery Success Story

Before my weight loss surgery, my life felt limited. My weight stopped me from truly enjoying time with my family and friends. I was constantly tired, embarrassed about my appearance, and often chose to stay home instead of going out. Even something as simple as climbing stairs would leave me winded—I’d hold my breath so others couldn’t hear me struggling.
At the time, I was taking medication for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and fibromyalgia. I relied on a CPAP machine for sleep apnea and dealt daily with gastric reflux. I was also an emotional eater—whether I was happy, sad, or angry, food was my comfort, and it was never the healthy kind.
When I first came to Grand Health Partners (GHP), I had no idea that weight loss surgery could even be an option for me. After meeting with Courtney, she walked me through my choices, and for the first time, I felt excited and hopeful about my future.
