To be fierce and show mercy. This is the whole thing right here. How we embrace and hold our power with mercy. What if this fierce soul power comes from self authority and love; so that the mercy and grace are ever present?
I believe this is what we, as mothers, are being called to do. This is brave, and also a necessity. We are invited by our children to show up completely. I accept this invitation, with all it's uncertainty and imperfection. Let the proper matters catch on fire. .

During this season of winter and inner LIGHT, remember how powerful you can be when you are in your heart space and feeling the delight and joy of your "tiny star" radiance. This is an inward cultivation. Every time you do this you become a force for good, not just for yourself, but for those you love and the great big family of all things. This breathing of the light extends and radiates back to the stars.

As we continue in this cycle of scorpio take note of all the ways the world and possibly your ancestors are communicating with you. I have had an encounter with my grandfather from the other side this month, a supernatural connection with one of my children on a soul level and been forced to consider what this means for my children who were adopted.
I have been contemplating the following inquiries:
What does it mean to be connected to our ancestors?
How does that relate to our connection with death?
And birth?
Taking this idea of ancestry both backward and forward. How do we stay connected (or get connected) with our future (the children)?
Here's what I've discovered...
When we notice any sort of struggle in our connection with the people in our lives (particularly our children) we must go to the source of our separation. Meaning our connection with our own parents and grandparents. Beyond this connection is the greater connection to everything that exists in us through our destiny, our challenge, our task.
I believe that soothing and reconciling any disturbances here clear the way for us and our children to experience a completely amazing life.

I encourage you to take the rest of this Scorpio cycle to inquire about your ancestral connections. The imagination is a powerful tool and can be used for healing and creation: use it!

The stretching of our capacities, the expansion of our hearts, our boundaries, our nearsightedness. Your closest people will reflect the most powerful messages. Are you listening? This month, this season, is for listening. Imagine the sense awareness and inner quietness that would be required for you to hear the leaves fall this season. Let go of holding on, put your ear to the ground, and let this season give you the messages you need.

Words cannot express the immense gratitude we feel for the amazing women that came to share the retreat with us this past weekend. There was a such a slow and beautiful flow to our days that it felt like time had stopped, and we were allowed to be fully present in all the moments we spent together. Thank you from the bottom of our heart and soul for allowing us to share our gifts with you!
