Found a lone Goldenrod taller than me on the river land. After the November floods, the river landscape completely changed. Where there used to be lots of St John’s Wort are now lots of Goldenrod. Nature always reminds me of impermanence and change, something it embodies more than anything. Today, I was reminded of the gifts we can all find when we embrace impermanence and welcome change. Thank you 🌞

The 8oz Winter Sun shrub is now up for grabs in the sh0p! 🥳
This delicious Vit C tonic (also called oxymel) is a blend of fir needles, rose hips and garden thyme infused for a few weeks in organic apple cider vinegar and raw local honey.

It is probably my favorite winter offering and I can never get enough 😋 you can enjoy it in sparkling water, tea, can use it to create unique cocktails and mocktails, or just drink a couple spoonful of it when you start feeling under the weather.

The taste is citrusy, rich, with a touch of floral, and will enliven your senses through the winter and early spring (I honestly drink it throughout the year anyways as it’s just so delicious).

Just get creative and invite more sunshine into your favorite drinks those winter months 🌞

As promised, I added a couple of the limited edition Evergreen lotion to the sh0p! 🌲 Available in small quantities in 1.7oz and 4oz sizes.

This lotion is incredibly fragrant despite having zero essential oil in it. I wild harvested Red Cedar and Douglas Fir needles on Nooksack land, and let them infuse in organic sweet almond and apricot kernel oil for several weeks. The results of these oils alone is a delight to the senses.
But the extra potency of this magical PNW forest lotion is attributed to the Evergreen hydrosol that my dear friend made herself.

This lotion follows the same recipe as my other two (Cottonwood and Reishi Lavender lotions), so if you are already familiar with those, you know you won’t be disappointed.

This lotion is light, non greasy and absord into your skin easily, leaving it hydrated and deeply nourished. And most importantly, a little goes a long way! So it can last you for months.

I am not sure if I’ll be able to offer this one again once it’s sold out… but I’ll let you know for sure if I do, and depending on the interest it will receive 🙂

New finishing salts! 🍄🍂🧂
A couple weeks ago I shared a picture of what looked like to you all (or at least 3/4 of you all!) like a face mask preparation. But it was actually these delicious finishing salts…

I present to you the CHANTERELLE & SHIITAKE salts!

I am so happy with how they turned out. The chanterelles are the dominant scent and while it smells super earthy and rich, it also gives hints of nutritional yeast (so amazing!), so it’d be a great vegan cheese sprinkling option for any dish.

Pairs really well with meats, soups, eggs, and even avocado toasts 😋

I harvested the chanterelles myself last fall in a forest near my house, and the shiitake are grown here at the farm.
I added a little touch of garlic powder and tada! The delicious magic is now available in these cute little jars.

I’m dropping a few jars off at today, and I have 3 available in the shop now 😘

These salts will be in limited edition as they are seasonal. So once my stock is gone, it’ll have to wait until next fall! 🍂

We just had a big snowstorm up in the PNW and everything turned into a winter wonderland ❄️⛄️🌞 with temps below average (9-12 degrees today).

The fireplace is roaring inside, I’m rocking my wool sweat pants and I made another batch of chicken bone broth to use as a base for different soups this week.

The land now is medicine for within: quiet, still, dormant, and hibernating. I try my best to follow the seasons’ rhythm. Now is a time to nurture, going inward and reflecting. A time to rest (A LOT), drink lots of nourishing teas and eat warming homemade meals. A time to enjoy the slow pace of life.

And I present to you the new face oil: Golden Meadow 🌼✨🌸

This gentle, soothing floral facial oil is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and deeply nourishing agents that will leave your skin feel soft, moisturized without clogging your pores, and protected.

The dominant scent is a concentrated oil infusion of German chamomile that I harvested throughout the summer in my own garden. Then I added seaside wild harvested rose petals, as well as Tulsi from the garden which were infused in rich nourishing oils for many moons. These 3 plants go so well together! ♥️

To make it extra nourishing, protective and moisturizing, raspberry seed oil and rose hip seed oil were blended into the formula, along with a few drops of rosemary antioxidant for preservation.

And to top it off, I put a couple Clear Quartz crystals into each bottle for general cleansing and to help enhance the oils' potency, and a few drops of rose absolute (already blended in jojoba oil) to enhance the wild rose infused oil.

The texture feels light, soft to the skin, and absorbs really well. No greasy feeling, just a happy, supple and glowing skin 🥰

I decided to make a small batch, and this will probably be a limited edition. I really wanted for you to enjoy this potent chamomile infused oil as it is one of my favorite flowers of all!
