Today marked the occasion of meeting Dr. Zenobia Newman, the new provider at the Lakeview Satellite Clinic in Wabash, Arkansas. The community came out in large numbers to extend a warm welcome to her. Everyone had the opportunity to schedule appointments for future visits. Dr. Newman is ready to serve the community and help make Lakeview a healthier place.

Notably, the statistics reveal that 1 in 7 individuals will be diagnosed with Lung or Breast Cancer, while 1 in 8 will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, and 1 in 12 will be diagnosed with Colon Cancer. Today, we collaborate with UAMS to provide on-site mammograms. We are thrilled about this valuable resource offered to our patients. We encourage all women to schedule an appointment for early cancer detection.

Today, we hosted a lunch and learn town hall meeting on cancer, sponsored by UAMS and Olly Neal Community Health Center, LCCC, for the benefit of our patients and staff. We are enthusiastic about this partnership, which enables us to provide more health education to our communities. The event focused on screening guidelines and risk factors associated with Lung, Breast, Prostate, and Colorectal Cancers. Guests were afforded the opportunity to pose questions and offer suggestions on enhancing available resources. Notably, the statistics indicate that 1 in 7 individuals will be diagnosed with Lung or Breast Cancer, while 1 in 8 will be diagnosed with Prostate Cancer, and 1 in 12 will be diagnosed with Colon Cancer. This committee comprises the Olly Neal Community Health Center and the Lakeview Building Committee.
