Most people don’t learn about PEP until they need it…
and by then, the clock is already ticking.ā°

PEP = after exposure
PrEP = before exposure

Same goal. Different timing.

Knowing the difference isn’t optional….it’s protection.

Save this so you don’t have to guess later.
Share it with someone who needs to know.

If you’re in Metro-Atlanta, Marietta, Cobb County and need access to PEP or want to start PrEP, I got you.

DM ā€œPEPā€ or ā€œPrEPā€

I can’t even lie… I be running.šŸƒšŸ½ā€ā™€ļø

Because when a patient messages me for PEP,
time matters.

PEP (Post-Exposure Prophylaxis) is medication you can take within 72 hours of possible HIV exposure to reduce your risk of HIV by greater than 80%.

Not next week. Not 96 hours.
Not when you ā€œget around to it.ā€

šŸ—£ļøWithin 72 hours.

If you think you’ve been exposed, the condom broke & you don’t know their status, don’t panic…. but don’t wait.

If you’re in Metro-Atlanta or any of the states we offer services you, and need access quickly, I got you.
DM ā€œPEPā€ and let’s move.

Condoms prevent most sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including HIV. Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) prevents HIV but not other sexually transmitted infections.

Choose both for maximum protection!

03/23/2026

Most STIs & HIV don’t announce themselves.
They exist quietly until you check.

Testing isn’t saying you did something wrong.
It’s making sure you’re doing things right.

DM ā€œTESTā€ to get started.

03/20/2026

This went viral in 2022… and I still hear this mindset today.

ā€œI’m married, so I don’t need testing.ā€

Let’s be clear:
Marriage is not a medical clearance.

Many women diagnosed with HIV report being in heterosexual relationships, not what people consider ā€œhigh risk.ā€ ļæ¼(CDC)

And studies show some people in relationships are unaware of their partner’s sexual risk or status. ļæ¼

Your relationship status does not replace routine care.

If you’re in Metro-Atlanta, take this as your reminder to check in with your health.

03/10/2026

Today is National Women and Girls HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

Marriage and relationships do not discriminate against HIV.

The second highest rates of HIV occur among African American women, followed by Latina women in heterosexual relationships.

Being in a relationship does not automatically equal protection.

Protecting your health means:
• Getting tested regularly
• Having honest conversations with your partner
• Advocating for yourself even when it’s uncomfortable

And if you ever have concerns about trust, infidelity, or your sexual health, PrEP is a powerful prevention & safe option.

Your health deserves honesty, protection, and peace of mind. ā¤ļø

Share this with a woman who needs the reminder:
Love should never replace protection.

Time will always reveal what chemistry tries to distract you from. ✨

90 days isn’t about control…. it’s about clarity.

Be honest… could you do 90 days? šŸ‘€

This video is old…
but apparently the lesson is not.

Not him saying ā€œjust the tipā€
but getting quiet when you say ā€œWhen was your last test?ā€

If he wants access to your body
but avoids accountability for his sexual health?

That’s a blazing red flag 🚩

Let me remind you:
šŸ“¢Good looks do not dictate status.

Here in Metro-Atlanta, we’re choosing:
āœ”ļø Conversations before contact
āœ”ļø Testing before trust
āœ”ļø Boundaries without apology

If you’re local and need a safe, judgment-free space to check your status… you know where to find me.

Protect your body. Protect your peace.

Most STIs don’t have symptoms.

Not itching.
Not burning.
Not discharge.

Nothing.

And that’s exactly why so many people find out late.

Testing isn’t about being ā€œpromiscuous.ā€
It’s about being informed.

Your future fertility.
Your immune system.
Your pelvic health.
Your peace of mind.

If you’ve had a new partner…
If a condom broke…
If it’s been over 6 months…

It’s time.

DM ā€œTESTā€ and I’ll tell you exactly what panel makes sense for you. No pressure, no judgment.

Have a great day on purpose. 🌿

Confusion is clarity.

If you have to keep repeating yourself, over-explaining, or stretching yourself thin just to be heard… pause.

They heard you the first time.

Someone who truly wants to understand you will ask questions.
They’ll lean in.
They’ll meet you where you are instead of making you chase connection.

Stop overextending yourself trying to be understood by people who are committed to misunderstanding you.

Peace feels like mutual effort. Not persuasion.

What has confusion revealed to you lately?

Beyond|Med Telehealth: Formation Story

Beyond|Med Telehealth was formed by two African American nurse practitioners who joined together to improve, not only the physical health of individuals, but also their mental and emotional health. Sharee Clarke and Lonnie Jones, both posses several years of nursing and leadership experience and are experts in disease prevention and treatment, risk reduction and health education. Ironically, they were both born and raised in New Jersey, but were not connected until they met in the Metro Atlanta Area in 2015. From there, they learned that their personal and professional goals aligned to form a company that shared their most important values and mission to provide quality care to their patients. Therefore, Beyond|Med Telehealth was created to meet clients where they are, by providing a telemedicine platform with the aim of improving overall wellness. Now was their chance to finally have a platform where they could provide evidence-based care to patients in a way that was convenient and relatable to patients. The light bulb went off and their excitement created the momentum for the practice you see today.
