Sis… take your placenta home.

In Haiti, we bury the placenta in the lakou, right in the family yard, or at the base of a mango tree so that your baby’s spirit is grounded, watched over, and nourished by the same land that held your ancestors.

We believe that the child will return back to the place they were born and always have an affinity to the land.

Our client shipped her placenta to us from the DMV and we prepared it similar to how we would the encapsulation/pill process. Because she needed to fly back home we opted for a BURIAL which allows her to have her placenta in a plant 🌱

Listen… I’ve been stamped by God, my ancestors, and my community LONG before anybody handed me a certificate. My work has been proven in the womb rooms, in the delivery rooms, at the foot of the altar, and in the homes of the women who trusted me with their most sacred moments.

But it does feel good to receive what I already knew.

It feels good to be recognized for the work I’ve BEEN doing.

It feels good to see traditional knowledge, ancestral skill, and spiritual authority finally being acknowledged at the level it deserves.

Because let’s be honest… I didn’t wait for anybody’s paper to serve my people.
I didn’t wait for anybody’s stamp to walk in my calling.

I didn’t wait for validation to open doors, train women, catch babies, hold mothers, and bring ancient practices back into the hands of our community.

This certification is nice — but my real accreditation came from Bondye, from my Haitian lineage, from the elders who whispered “go” when I was scared, and from the hundreds of mothers whose births and wombs I’ve held as sacred ground.

So cheers to this.

But even louder cheers to the path that was already ordained, already approved, already written.

Beloved, do what you feel called to do!!!

When I first stepped into this work, i didn’t see anyone blending ATR practices with mental health, healing movement therapies, ceremony, and birthwork. Nobody was marrying the sacred with the clinical. Nobody was teaching women how to hold spirit and science in the same breath.

Or it wasn’t in my community … But I felt the call l Oh and I answered it.

I didn’t wait to see who blinked or who approved. I created In Grace Yoga Therapy with my own two hands. I built the In Grace Birth Collective from the ground up. And since then, over 200 healers have passed through my teachings… over 2000 clients l now stand in their own power, doing this work in their communities with integrity, spirit, and skill.

this weekend, I’ll be leading my final training of the year, Practitioner Level Two a alongside teaching women how to hold the spiritual side of birthwork, the part no textbook can explain. Women have flown in from across the world to sit in this space. To learn. To remember. To rise.

Let me tell you something from my heart:

Stop looking left and right to see what other people are doing.
I don’t have competition — and neither do you.
I am my own boss.
I walk a God-ordained path.
My work is my calling, not a trend.

Everything I have today was built from risk, faith, obedience, and consistency. Excellence requires all four.

So believe in yourself the way Spirit believes in you.
Trust your voice.
Honor your gifts.
Build what God told you to create… even if no one else has done it before.

You are capable.
You are chosen.
And your path will make room for you, just like mine did.

✨ NOW HIRING: DOULA ASSISTANTS (NYC + ATL) ✨

We’re expanding the In Grace Yoga Therapy Birth Collective and are seeking Doula Assistants to join our growing team in New York City and Atlanta.

This is a sacred hands-on role supporting our lead doulas and postpartum team in the field.

You’ll assist with ceremonies, client visits, healing retreats, and sacred setups for mothers as they move through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum transitions.

You’re a great fit if you:
🌿 Feel called to support Black women and multicultural families with compassion and care
🌿 Thrive in a fast-paced, heart-led environment
🌿 Can follow intuitive direction with ease and work well as part of a spiritual team
🌿 Have a background or interest in herbal healing, traditional care, or holistic wellness
🌿 Are reliable, personable, and grounded in professionalism
Responsibilities include:
✨ Assisting lead doulas with client care and ceremonies
✨ Supporting setup and cleanup for rituals, baths, and postpartum retreats
✨ Coordinating with clients and team members for visits and scheduling
✨ Participating in team meetings and community gatherings

This is an entry-level opportunity for aspiring doulas or newer doulas looking to gain real-world experience under the mentorship of our In Grace leaders.

Doula Assistants DO NOT manage their own cases… they work closely with lead doulas and practitioners to learn, observe, and grow.
