A hearing consultation with your Cobb Hearing Aids Services professional is a vital first step in the journey to better hearing. Speaking with a qualified specialist is a great way to learn more about your hearing. We start with a systematic review of past medical history, especially as it pertains to your family's history of hearing loss. We're also looking for other causes of the hearing loss, including noise exposure, medications, and any visible or structural damage to the hearing mechanism.We also ask about your lifestyle to find out when, where, and who you are having difficulty hearing, and find out what your hearing goals are.

Then We'll Test

Next we perform a comprehensive hearing health exam. A hearing evaluation provides information related to the type of hearing loss, degree of hearing loss, and the patient’s ability to understand speech.

The Results and Solution

Based on the results of your personalized hearing evaluation, the qualified hearing professionals at Cobb Hearing Aid Services will make recommendations for you. If your test results show hearing loss, recommendations may result in hearing aids, lifestyle changes, and even regular ear maintenance.Your hearing needs will change during your lifetime. We know that better hearing results are achieved with regular service. After initial treatments have been completed, we recommend a complete review of progress every 4 to 6 months to verify that we are reaching maximum potential.
