Meet our newest addition! This is Rhonda! She is a 12.2 hand quarter horse pony mare. She came out to be exposed to her first day of therapy yesterday. She handled things like a champ and we can’t wait to begin using her for therapy!

✨ Spotlight on Lady ✨
Today, we’re celebrating one of the most extraordinary horses in our herd — Lady.
Lady is a beautiful Quarter Horse × Haflinger mare, owned by Merri Mac and lovingly leased to Magical Moments. Her journey didn’t begin in the easiest place. She was purchased at auction on a day that wasn’t her best… but every day since, she has shown us the true depth of her gentle heart.
From the moment she joined our program, Lady revealed a gift that can’t be taught — deep, intuitive empathy. She has become a trusted partner for many of our non-verbal riders, especially those with limited body control.
Where most horses might feel nervous or unsure, Lady remains calm, present, and beautifully patient. Our kids may bounce, flap, wiggle, squeal with joy, lean sideways, or even lay backward across her — and Lady simply softens and waits. One special day, she even dozed off while a child stretched across her back, only waking when asked to walk on again.
This is who Lady is.
Steady.
Kind.
Compassionate.
Invaluable.
We are endlessly grateful for this remarkable mare and the healing moments she helps create — one stride at a time. 💛🐴✨
