Holiday Hope 2025 full details

We’re excited to share the full details for this year’s Holiday Hope Toy Giveaway, brought to our community by Thrifty Relief and the United Cajun Navy along with an incredible group of local sponsors who stepped up in a big way.

Location: Midnight Ballroom – 1700 S Center St Marshalltown
Date: December 13th
Time: 11:00 AM until supplies run out
Serving: Children ages 1–12
Over 2,000 brand-new toys will be available this year.

We recommend families arrive early for the best selection, as toys will be given out on a first-come, first-served basis.

Requirements to Receive Toys
No pre-sign up required

1. Proof of Government Assistance
Acceptable forms include SNAP, WIC, HUD, FIP, DHS letter, or a school counselor referral.

2. Proof of Each Child
Birth certificate, school ID, medical insurance card, or similar documentation.
Children must live in your household and be financially supported by you.

Each child receives 2 toys. One check-in per child only; no duplicate pickups.

We Need Your Help 🙏

For the past 16 months, we've worked hard to provide a safe, sober, and stable environment for the men in our program, all without asking much from our community. Through faith, hard work, and generosity, we've kept the lights on, the doors open, and most importantly, a place of healing and hope alive.

But today, we're reaching out because we need your help.
We're facing a tough financial moment as we are helping those come out of prison and treatment centers that have nothing and to continue supporting these men on their journey to recovery, we need immediate help to cover basic expenses like utilities and operational costs.

As these individuals transition and seek stable employment, we are working to raise $20,000 to help cover essential living expenses over the next couple of months.

Every dollar goes directly to keeping this place running and ensuring these men have the support, structure, and stability they need to stay sober and rebuild their lives. If you’re able to give, no amount is too small, we would be deeply grateful. And if you can’t give financially, please share this post and keep us in your prayers.

Now that we’ve had some time to gather our thoughts (and emotions🤪) from Saturday, all we can say is WOW. The community really showed up. 💙 Our support system is absolutely incredible.

Hosted by God’s Way Ministries, another reason was community outreach and to show Marshalltown residents they care and can do good. Held at West End...
