There's still time to apply to the BBAC’s 45th Annual Michigan Fine Arts Competition! 🎨

The MFAC is a juried arts competition where accomplished artists from Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois & Wisconsin enter to win cash awards and have their work exhibited in the annual MFAC show at the BBAC.

Application information can be found on our website. Applications are due by May 14th, 2026. The exhibition will take place June 19 – August 13, 2026.

At the close of Ascent Act II, large-scale projections by Professor Alison Dobbins and her students illuminated the MSU Museum’s façade, transforming the exterior into a dynamic, immersive work of art. Set to music arranged by Michigan State University College of Music faculty with elements from the iconic Beaumont Tower carillon, the experience brought together art, sound, and architecture.
