When a child’s behavior feels challenging, it’s easy to think it’s on purpose. Often, it’s communication. Kids act out when they’re tired, hungry, anxious, overwhelmed, or struggling with a skill they haven’t yet learned.
Seeing behavior this way doesn’t mean allowing everything, it means responding with kindness, curiosity, and support instead of punishment.
When we look for the reason behind the behavior, children feel safer, understood, and more capable of learning healthier ways to cope. That’s where real growth happens. 💯
