Show some love for our February Member of the Month, Saundra Wright!
🔴 What’s your fitness “why”?
To continue being able to do the fun activities I enjoy doing. To keep my independence and not have to rely on medical devices and/or support.
⚫️ When did you start coming to ReZist?
After a foot surgery in early 2023, I felt “gross”. I reached out to Theresa Robey (former owner of ReZist) and began private personal training with her. This past fall, Theresa retired and it was time for this little birdie “to fly”. Theresa had been kindly suggesting I try a class for some time, but I was reluctant. Classes at other studios in the past never kept me committed. I tried my first class in late August at ReZist and I was hooked!
🔴 How has your body/health/mind changed?
My body has DEFINITELY changed since coming to ReZist. I have lost 20+ pounds and have kept it off. My body is stronger, tighter, and there is a lot less fluff! I feel my body is much more flexible and I have more energy. My mind is more willing to push myself harder during classes.
⚫️ What’s your favorite form of exercise at ReZist?
It’s really hard for me to pick a favorite class because I seriously like them all. I am a “make a list and check things off” kind of person so I do particularly like the pyramid class because I enjoy “checking off” each drill in my mind as I come down the pyramid. It makes me feel accomplished!
🔴 What keeps you coming back?
Every. Single. Person. in this studio is SO KIND! There is absolutely no judgment here and we all encourage each other. The instructors are extremely caring and continuously make sure our form is correct to avoid injury. I love that they work out right alongside of us and are so positive. I also appreciate the small class sizes as I feel this makes the experience more personable. I have truly found my workout “home” at ReZist!
