Welcome back, Lakers! It's that time again, so make textbook pickup fun by joining us for a little celebration to kick off the semester.

⏰ Times: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Extended until 6 p.m. on Friday!)

A huge round of applause for two of our Lake Land College Student Government Association members, Jay Bliler and Aubrey Killey, who both were recently named this year's recipients of the IACRAO Leadership and Service Scholarships!

The IACRAO scholarships are for outstanding students to help them as they transfer and continue their academic pursuits. Jay will be transferring to Illinois State University next year to double major in agribusiness and accounting, while Aubrey will be transferring to Western Illinois University to study ag business and communications.

Our student-run newspaper, the Lake Land College Navigator News, was well-represented during the annual Illinois Community College Journalism Association awards ceremony! Several student staff members took home awards, including ones for Best News Column, Best News Story and more!
