Hi Lakers,
Interested in internships that can take you all the way to Washington, D.C.?

Join us on Monday, March 30 at 9 a.m. in the Luther Student Center Theater to hear from Justice Dickey, Intern Coordinator for
Congressman Mike Bost (IL-12).

You’ll learn about internship opportunities in both D.C. and local district offices, open to students of all majors and class levels. The session will last about 20–30 minutes and includes time to ask questions and learn how to get involved.
These internships are a great way to gain real-world experience, build your resume, and explore career paths in public service.

If you’re unable to attend but want more information, business cards will be available, or you’re welcome to reach out directly after the event.

Congratulations!

Join us in congratulating two of our Lake Land College Phi Theta Kappa students, Morgan Livingston of Marshall and Jay Bliler of Taylorville, for being named to the PTK All-Illinois Academic Team!

The All-Illinois Academic Team is a prestigious honor, recognizing the top students in Illinois across more than 50 statewide PTK chapters. Morgan and Jay will both be recognized during the All-Illinois Banquet in Springfield on April 16.

Way to go, Morgan and Jay!
