We had one of our largest turnouts for the Advance Care Planning workshop at the Wellness & Activity Center yesterday & I wanted to thank everyone for their time and continued support 💟

We'll be taking a break from our educational workshops in April & May so I can prioritize clients and scheduled services, but you can catch the next class on June 20th at 12:30pm. Registration will be available through the Shenandoah County Parks & Recreation website.

Physical event cards are available for your favorite spot - whether that be the fridge (next to the report cards) or that cork board that you have to sort through (here's your reminder), or right next to your computer (among the masses of sticky notes) or by the wall calendar (are those still a thing?).

This , support the Blue Ridge CASA for Children which is expanding its services into Shenandoah and Page Counties. Their most pressing needs center around recruiting and training new volunteer advocates and securing the financial resources necessary to sustain this growth. Each child they serve deserves a caring, trained adult to stand by their side and ensure their voice is heard in court — but as our service area grows, so does the number of children in need of that critical support. Financial contributions are essential to provide the training, supervision, and ongoing resources that empower volunteers to advocate effectively for children experiencing abuse and neglect.
