Union County E-911 has implemented storm readiness procedures in advance of this weekend’s anticipated winter weather. Following Governor Lee’s declaration of a state of emergency, backup power systems have been fueled and tested at all radio repeater sites to ensure communications are uninterrupted. 911 operations will remain fully staffed and monitored, with redundant systems in place to maintain service continuity throughout the storm. Residents are encouraged to take appropriate precautions, prepare for possible power outages, and limit travel to essential needs as conditions are expected to deteriorate over the weekend.

✨ You’re Invited: Faith & Healing Forum ✨
Mental health and substance use affect every community—and stigma remains one of the biggest barriers to healing.
Join us for an open, honest conversation focused on faith, understanding, and practical ways we can support one another. This forum will explore how stigma shows up, how it impacts individuals and families, and how our community can help break those barriers and improve access to care and recovery.

Important Update:
Due to current circumstances, the unhoused breakfast event has been postponed until Sunday, February 1.
If you or someone you know is unhoused and in need of warm items (coats, blankets, gloves, etc.) before Friday, please reach out to us directly so we can help.
Please share this post widely to help spread the word. We do not want anyone coming out on Saturday for their safety, and want to ensure everyone has what they need ahead of time.
