Comprehend, Inc. We are the provider of behavioral healthcare and developmental services in the Buffalo Trace Region.

No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. There is Discounted/Sliding Fee Scale available based on family size and income. Comprehend is a community mental healthcare provider offering comprehensive behavioral health services including counseling, case management, psychiatric, day treatment and a variety of services for children and adults with behavioral health disorders and addictions. Our staff of fully licensed, professionals provides behavioral health care services in Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment, Mental Health (children and adults), and Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities. Comprehend’s Children’s Services staff offers early intervention services to elementary school children. Studies show that mental health has a complex interactive relationship with their physical health and their ability to succeed in school and in society. We currently provide First Steps for children ages 0 to 3 that have early developmental delays, Dinosaur School for children ages 3 to 8, which teaches young people anger management skills, conflict resolution and a range of positive pro-social behaviors. Comprehend’s Addictions Services provides an Intensive Outpatient Program for individuals as well as an Intensive Outpatient Program for Expectant Mothers who suffer from addiction.

Our IDD program is also hosting a Sensitive Santa experience on December 13th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.

This event is designed to provide a calm, sensory-friendly environment for individuals who may benefit from a quieter and more relaxed visit with Santa. Our goal is to ensure every participant has the opportunity to enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable holiday experience.

We look forward to welcoming you and creating a positive holiday experience for all.

We are thrilled to invite you to our upcoming self-care event! This special evening is designed for moms who are 12 months postpartum or younger. Join us for a relaxing and rejuvenating night that will include delicious snacks, refreshing beverages, engaging activities, and an informative session.
