St James Health and Wellness formerly known as St James Santee Family Health Center, with locations St. To best serve you, our staff works as a team.

James Health and Wellness is a 501 (c)(3) that provides primary health care services to residents of the counties of Georgetown, Charleston, and Berkeley in South Carolina. Providing Professional Healthcare Servies Since 1981

The medical staff at our center practices family medicine and specializes in evaluating and caring for your total health needs. They are trained in every major area of medicine and are well-qualified to treat virtually all your health problems. In addition, our medical staff will evaluate your health regarding stress factors, family history, and other possible effects on your current health which are unique to you.

Take a Loved One to the Doctor for Free

St. James Health and Wellness is offering free medical visits through our “Take a Loved One to the Doctor” voucher program. It’s a simple way to help your loved ones stay on top of their health with a regular check-up.

Whether it's for you, a parent, a friend, or a neighbor, this voucher covers a standard doctor’s visit if you have not visited us in 2024.

If you would like to learn more or request a voucher, you can contact any of our offices today. We’re here to support your health and your family’s well-being.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness. A health observance that reminds us to be aware of breast cancer symptoms and risk factors and the steps we can take to improve our health and possibly lower the risk of getting breast cancer or finding it early when it may be easier to treat.

👋 Meet Dr. Alexander Wade, our newest pediatrician joining St. James Health and Wellness this month!

Dr. Wade earned his medical degree from George Washington School of Medicine and completed his residency at Children’s National in D.C. He’s cared for children in both rural and urban communities, and recently volunteered in the Middle East, serving families with limited access to healthcare.

He enjoys running, playing the violin, and is passionate about helping children grow into their full, God-given potential. We’re excited to welcome him to our team!
