Stop by the McHenry Municipal Center starting tomorrow (Nov. 21) through December 29th to check out the Festival of Trees! Cedarhurst is proud to be a part of this event and support our community.

To vote for a favorite tree, bring any canned goods or toiletries and leave them under your tree of choice. All donations will go directly to Veterans Path to Hope. 🎄❤️🎅🧑‍🎄

🎉 Happy 100th Birthday, Marion Rhoads! 🎉

Born August 16, 1925, in Harrisburg, PA, Marion has spent a century filled with family, faith, and fun. She married her husband, William, in 1949, and they made their home in Lake Forest, IL, raising four children—Carol, Kim, Susanne, and Rick. Today, she’s the proud grandmother of four and great-grandmother of one.

Marion’s first job was with Bell Telephone, but her heart found joy in music, singing in the choir at The Church of the Holy Spirit for 42 years. She’s loved cheerleading, playing bridge, golf at Deerpath Golf Course, and countless family trips—from the North Shore to National Parks.

Longevity runs in her family—her parents lived to 99½ and 101!
