Breastfeeding is such a special time, but it shouldn’t come with constant neck and upper back pain 🤍

If you’re feeling sore a few weeks into your routine, you’re not alone. The way you’re sitting, holding your baby, or supporting your body can make a huge difference.

✨ Try this:
• Use a breastfeeding pillow to bring baby up to you
• Relax your shoulders (no hunching!)
• Take stretch breaks for your neck + upper back
• Explore different feeding positions to find what feels best

Your comfort matters too, mama. You deserve to feel supported while you care for your baby 💛

f walking, rolling over, or even moving your legs feels way harder than it should after birth… you’re not alone.

👉 It could be p***c symphysis separation (PSS)—a condition where the front of your pelvis becomes unstable, causing pain with everyday movement.

Common signs:
• Pain with standing or walking
• Discomfort when changing positions
• Difficulty moving your legs
• Pain in the front of the pelvis, groin, or even your back

The good news? ✨ It’s treatable.
You don’t have to “just wait it out” or put your life on hold to feel better.

Pelvic floor physical therapy can help restore stability, reduce pain, and get you back to moving confidently again 💪

If this sounds like you, we’re here to help 🤍

Leaking isn’t always about weakness, it’s often about coordination.
Your pelvic floor works with your breath, core, and nervous system, and when they’re out of sync, symptoms can show up.

The good news is this is something you can improve with the right approach 💛

Your body is always communicating with you and sometimes it does that through small symptoms we are told to ignore.

Leaking when you laugh or exercise, pelvic pain, urgency to p*e, pain with intimacy, or feeling like your core just is not the same after pregnancy can all be signs that your pelvic floor needs support.

These symptoms are common but they are not something you have to live with.

Pelvic floor physical therapy can help improve muscle coordination, strength, and overall function so you can feel confident and comfortable in your body again.

If any of these sound familiar, you are not alone and help is available.

Baby wearing can be a beautiful way to bond with your little one 🤍 But if you’re experiencing pelvic organ prolapse (POP) or pelvic floor symptoms, it’s important to approach baby wearing with awareness and support.

The right carrier, proper positioning, and good posture can make a big difference in how your body handles the added pressure. Supporting your core and pelvic floor while distributing weight through your hips instead of your abdomen can help protect your healing body.

Every postpartum journey looks different. If you’re experiencing pelvic pressure, heaviness, or bulging, pelvic floor physical therapy can help you build strength and confidence so you can safely return to the activities you love — including baby wearing.

You deserve to feel strong, supported, and empowered in your postpartum body. 💛

These are things we hear all the time in pelvic floor physical therapy.

Many women believe leaking, pelvic pressure, or avoiding certain activities after having kids is just part of life. But the truth is, you don’t have to live with these symptoms.

Pelvic floor physical therapy can help restore strength, improve coordination, and support your body so you can move through life with confidence again.

At The Fit Pelvis, we’re here to help you feel stronger, supported, and empowered in your pelvic health.

There are a lot of pelvic health questions people feel uncomfortable asking.

Questions like:
• Why do I leak when I sneeze?
• Why do I always feel like I need the bathroom?
• Why do I feel pressure in my pelvis?
• Why does intimacy feel painful?

The truth is, these are very common concerns — and you’re not alone in experiencing them. But common doesn’t mean you have to live with them.

Pelvic floor physical therapy can help address the root cause and support your body in moving, healing, and functioning better.

At The Fit Pelvis, we’re here to create a safe, supportive space where you can ask these questions and get the care you deserve.

💙 Your pelvic health matters.

Core strength isn’t about crunches. It’s about coordination.
When your diaphragm, deep abs, pelvic floor, and back muscles work together, you build strength from the inside out.

✨ Inhale: ribs widen, belly softens, pelvic floor relaxes.
✨ Exhale: ribs close, deep abs hug in, pelvic floor gently lifts.

Small, intentional breaths = powerful results.

If you’ve been sucking in your belly or forcing your exhales, this is your reminder to soften. Strength starts with connection.

Save this to practice later and share with someone who needs this reminder.

✨ Planning an epidural? You can STILL benefit from pelvic floor PT during pregnancy.

There are so many changes happening in your body as you prepare for birth — and an epidural doesn’t change the importance of preparation.

Birth prep PT helps you:
• Learn effective labor positions
• Coordinate pushing (even with decreased sensation)
• Manage bladder & bowel function
• Reduce back and p***c pain
• Prepare for smoother postpartum recovery

Whether you’re planning an unmedicated birth or an epidural, your body deserves support. 💛

It’s not too late to get help during this pregnancy.

Ready to feel confident going into delivery? We’re here for you.

Preparing for birth is not about being tougher.
It is about being more connected.

Your hips, core, breath, and pelvic floor all work together. When you understand how to move, relax, and coordinate these muscles, birth becomes something you can approach with confidence instead of fear.

Pelvic floor physical therapy during pregnancy helps you
• build strength where it counts
• learn how to relax and release
• improve mobility and balance
• feel prepared for labor and recovery

Birth is powerful. Preparation makes it empowering.

If you are pregnant and want to feel strong, calm, and ready, we would love to support you.
