I’m looking for Volunteers who would love to come in on the weekends (Saturday/Sunday) and lead an activity for our residents!

Also, if you know someone who would enjoy spending a HOLIDAY with them doing an activity please let me know!

Saturdays: 10am & 2pm time slots open except for the second Saturday at 2pm thanks to New Hope for providing Bingo once a month.

Sundays: We are so thankful for Bude Church of God for their commitment to every Sunday morning at 10am. We appreciate yall so much!

We are currently looking for someone to fill our Sundays at 2pm time slots.

Reminder & another request for Help! 🙂

Reminder: All gifts and stockings from our “Adopt a Resident” will need to be delivered by December 12th! We appreciate you all so much!!!

Request for Help: We called City Hall to see if our residents could have a special drive thru during the Christmas parade but sadly was told there is no place for them to turn around and that the HWY created conflict.

So with that being said: We are planning a Christmas parade drive thru, Thursday December 11th starting at 2pm for our residents & we need YOUR help in making this a success for them!

We are calling on EVERYONE! Classic cars, motorcycles, the band and anyone else wanting to put a smile on our residents’ face!!

Decorate your cars, dress up and drive thru our parking lot to give our residents the best Christmas parade experience! We would love for Franklin County High School to be involved if at all possible as well!!

Did you miss our “Adopt a Resident?”

Well….

Someone brought a wonderful idea to us since all of our residents have been adopted at this time for their Christmas gifts it was suggested that we now ask for each resident to have a FULLY STOCKED Christmas STOCKING!!!

Let us know if you would like to provide a Christmas Stocking for a resident!

I’m amazed at how supportive our community has been and how fast the everyone has been to help!!

With that being said we are also STILL asking for the following to be prepared for new admits and the possibility of someone not following through because we know that can happen.

We are asking for the following donations moving forward for either gender in any sizes:

Pajama Sets
Pajama Pants
Gowns
Robes
Jackets/Hoodies
Jogging Suits
Plain T Shirts
Cute T Shirts
Slippers (with grip)
Socks
Perfume/Cologne
Lotions
Body Wash
Deodorant

This holiday season we are trying something new. We are wanting to get our community involved with our Nursing Home. We are asking for help to bring joy to the hearts of our nursing home residents who may not otherwise receive a gift. Through our "Adopt a Resident" program, you can help do just that.

How it works:
1. Receive a resident to "adopt"
2. Receive their Christmas Wish List
3. Shop for their gift(s)
4. Drop off your wrapped gift(s) by December 12th 2025.

Your kindness will make the season brighter and remind our residents that they are loved and remembered. 💖
