Welcome to North Carolina Spring, where one day it’s 90 degrees, and the next, it’s 55. These rockstar residents of Briar Chapel didn’t let a little wind keep them from coming out to learn CPR and choking relief skills! Beyond seeing them learn and master these lifesaving skills, these folks also had the chance to meet some neighbors and make new friends! According to a study from 2024 conducted by the , women are 14% less likely to receive bystander CPR than men. Practicing with realistic manikins can help you feel more confident to act when anyone is in cardiac arrest. Don’t hesitate to act because you’re afraid of exposing someone’s chest!!
