We started the week strong with BLS in Winston-Salem today! Diamond, Ella, and Sage did a fantastic job demonstrating BLS skills and working together as a team. Congratulations!!!

This week we’re almost as stoked about Bad Bunny as we are about these Zoll AED pads that were donated to Heart Strings! These expired pads allow students to see an example of real AED pads and how to use their training in real-world scenarios. We’ll be using these tomorrow in our BLS class in Winston Salem!

We can't wait to be back at with another CPR Class for Parents! Join us on Saturday April 25 at 9:30am.

This class will focus on how to recognize an emergency, call for help, and perform CPR and choking relief for infants and children up to age 12. Videos, group discussion, and hands-on practice will be used to facilitate learning.

This class is recommended for those who are preparing to bring home a baby for the first time, or for those who already have children and want to learn these lifesaving skills.

We're so excited to have on-site childcare available for infants up to 12 months thanks to Andrea Fowler from and Kelly Settipani from .

Feeling full of gratitude as I prepare for our second BLS class in Greensboro this week! The heart of what I get to do is teach lifesaving CPR and First Aid skills but the soul is in moments like this - choosing stickers to share with my student, connecting with people and new communities, packing a CPR face shield with the hopes that my student will feel confident using it if they ever have to. I’m so grateful for the support that Heart Strings CPR has felt over our first year and we’re excited for the year to come!

We had a wonderful time at our New Parent CPR class this past weekend! 13 new parents joined us to learn infant CPR and choking relief skills at the beautiful and we are so proud of them for investing in the safety of their families! A huge thank you to Andrea from for providing childcare and free nursing supplies for the parents in class, and to our sweet friend Rita who assisted with childcare and instructor support. We’ll be back in the Spring, and don’t forget to reach out to us for private, in-home classes!
