Something to ponder while we are in lockdown.
Sometimes I absolutely marvel at how specifically the symbols that the planets are activating show us what is happening in the world around us! And that is certainly once again the case when it comes to the new moon that is coming up for us this Tuesday. New moons signify the beginning of a new cycle ahead of us and the seeds that we are planting.
The predominant symbol for this upcoming new moon is “Two lovers strolling through a secluded walk.” As you might imagine, this perfectly describes our environment right now as we are all quarantining ourselves from the rest of the world. We are all hunkering down with our families and those we love the most.
And at the same time, we are also getting the opportunity to reacquaint ourselves with the activities and things that we love and enjoy that we usually don’t have the time to pursue during our normally busy schedules. If we can look at this situation in the most positive way, we might find that getting in touch with these other ways to pass the time may actually plant the seeds for something much bigger and soul fulfilling once this crisis has passed.
The surrounding symbols suggest that a re-programming of sorts is happening during this time away from the rest of the world. There is a good chance that we will be living our lives very differently once we emerge from this time away from our normal routines. And that can be a very good thing!
Meanwhile, this new moon is also positioned right next to Chiron and Lilith, so there is also an opportunity here to re-program the way these two forces operate in our lives as well. This is a true blessing because both of these planets govern some of the most painful parts of our lives.
Chiron represents the wounds that we carry with us throughout our lives that we just can’t seem to heal. Often these are related to events that happened during our childhood that we continue to replay in our interactions with others. Lilith represents the times when we feel bullied and made fun of or not allowed to take our rightful position or power in life. In the highest sense Lilith represents the true Divine Feminine energy.
It can certainly be the case that having some down time can give our minds time to wander to thoughts related to the things Chiron and Lilith represent for us. After all, one of the ways we manage to push these thoughts away is to keep as busy as possible! But there is no need to be alarmed if you find yourself thinking about the more painful moments of your life during this time of seclusion.
In fact, there is a good possibility that this energy will show us all how to re-program the way we look at those events of our past and see them in an entirely new way. When we can do that, true healing comes to us in ways we never could have imagined!
As if to repeat this message Pluto and Mars are joined together activating another symbol of seclusion: “A woman entering a convent.” Since Pluto has a way of holding on to all those traumas and Mars has a way of bringing action to the scene, some of those old traumas could be surfacing for us to actively face. Especially ones that involve the male domination aspect that Mars can sometimes carry. Keep in mind that Pluto would ever let these traumatic memories surface unless he trusted that we could handle them!
At the same time, this conjunction of the Moon, Sun, Chiron and Lilith are also forming a T-square with the North Node and Hades and the South Node and Cupido. Squares have a way of creating a sense of crisis that requires some sort of effort on our part to resolve. And while it is very clear that the entire world is in crisis, the symbols and planets here tell us even more about what may be happening for us as individuals.
The South Node represents our past and things that we are comfortable with and Cupido is all about gathering together, family and getting along. Together they have us gathering together with our families, those we get along with and those we are most comfortable with-those who FEEL like family to us. On the other side, the North Node represents our future destiny-where we are headed-and well, honestly, Hades can be a little hellish for us!
When we add in the energy of the symbols that they are sparking, the hellish crisis that may be ahead of us happens when we find these separate “family” groupings going head to head against each other. This can manifest in arguments about how everyone is handling this crisis differently and who gets access to certain resources, whether that involves something as mundane as toilet paper or something as important as test kits.
This can also manifest in similar ways in our own enclosed environments, where those unhealed Chiron and Lilith events from the past get replayed with those we are sequestered with. Together the North Node and Hades are sparking the energy of petty arguments about almost anything at its lowest vibrational aspect.
But when we activate this energy from a HIGHER vibrational consciousness, we find that it connects with the energy of Ganesh-that Hindu elephant god that sweeps the path ahead of us free of obstacles with his trunk! As always, how we manifest the energy around us depends largely on the choices we make.
Throughout this new moon chart there are many hints on how to find our way on the path that Ganesh is clearing for us. The first comes from the unoccupied corner of that square that the Moon, Sun, Chiron, Lilith, Cupido, Hades and the Nodes have created. Located in the sign of Libra-which is all about finding balance-this unoccupied corner is the location of what is known as Super Galactic Center!
Super Galactic Center is one of the largest black holes in our galaxy and spans a distance of over 17 degrees! It is also considered to be a place where the God/Source energy communicates with us. As large as this black hole is, it just so happens to be the exact center of this black hole that completes this square. Black holes normally have a very intense gravitational pull that brings everything in their midst together-can you imagine how strong the pull of the center of THIS black hole must be?
The message here is clear that we must realize that we are ALL being affected by this crisis and that these petty arguments only serve to separate us in ways that don’t serve us in the long run.
Interestingly, this message comes though yet again with the help of the other symbol being activated by this new moon: “A triangle with wings.” In a sense, this symbol is telling us that the dualistic approach may be effective when it comes to our seclusion, however if we want to rise ABOVE this situation, we need to look at this from a trinitized view. That is, in a way where both sides of the fence get something that they need. In a higher sense, this is the “middle way” or the Christ consciousness.
Which brings me to the Grand Earth Trine in this new moon chart-a literal “triangle with wings!” The South Node and Cupido (which were such a big part of that T-Square crisis) are also involved in a grand trine with Uranus and Transpluto. Trines create a MUCH easier flow of energy than the squares do, and because this grand trine is in earth signs, it is all about grounding something into reality.
Transpluto is much like the North Node in that it represents our future and destiny-however it has an added touch of selflessness to it. It is all about being of service and the higher good of humanity. And it is no surprise here that it is sparking symbols that represent the mind of God/Source energy as well as another black hole-like space anomaly known as the Great Attractor that is pulling all of the galaxies together.
Again. we are getting the message that pulling together as a society in a selfless way is the right thing to do. The kicker here though is Uranus’s position. Uranus is known as the Great Awakener and has a way of bringing forth accidents and events that tend to shake us out of our regular routine. I think we can all say Uranus has certainly been doing that for all of us lately!
But Uranus is also currently occupying symbols that tell us that this big shake up and awakening that we are going through has the potential to bring some huge rewards with it at the same time. The symbols being activated are “Steps up to a lawn in clover” and “A rainbow’s pot of gold.” Not only perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, but also a sign that we are getting a sudden opportunity to advance and collect some hefty rewards for doing so!
Uranus is also sparking a symbol that tells us that we must leave something behind and put it to rest along the way. Let’s use this time wisely to let go of those old ways of looking at the people who have wounded us in the past, let go of the things that divide us and put THOSE things to rest.
Remember that we are all in this together as one global community.
