Exciting news! Southern Oregon Cardiology and Asante have signed a multi-year extension of their co-management relationship. The long-standing partnership enables Asante to continue expanding cardiac services for southern Oregon.

Following years of working collaboratively with Gastroenterology Consultants, PC, Asante Gastroenterology provides inpatient and outpatient GI care to support the growing regional demand. These statements are not only false, but misrepresented by the media. This misinformation is harmful to our patients and their families. Q: Is the NICU at Rogue Regional Medical Center closing?
A: No. This is a critical service line that we are committed to growing to better serve the families across the many counties who rely on Rogue Regional Medical Center for this specialty care.

Q: Are the nine neonatologists still employed with Asante?
A: Yes, all nine neonatologists are still working shifts in the NICU with 24/7 coverage. Until new plans are in place this summer, current staffing is expected to remain the same.

Q: What are the plans for the NICU after July 2026?
A: We are exploring clinical partnerships with academic and other regional providers who share our vision of expanding neonatal access and capability for our health system and region.
