Dr. Phillip Stawski is a physician and the Medical Director for the Emergency Department (ED) in Ashland. Dr. Stawski addresses the upcoming transition taking place at Ashland Community Hospital. The Emergency Department in Ashland is not closing. Dr. Stawski and his team will continue to be open and available 24/7 for our community. Many other services are also continuing in the facility including outpatient surgeries, Imaging, Lab and more.

Three local physician groups have renewed multi-year contracts to support patient services across Asante facilities. This includes Vista Pathology, Radia and Southern Oregon Anesthesia.

These agreements follow last month’s announcement of a new multi-year extension with Southern Oregon Cardiology. Each of these contract extensions allows for care to be provided close to home by expert clinicians who live in our communities and are committed to our shared Mission.

Three Rivers Medical Center is now home to an upgraded 3T MRI machine! This advancement will have tremendous benefits for patients, including 𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿, 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴.

MRI services are in high demand throughout southern Oregon; this upgrade increases access to serve more patients and is part of an overall strategy to grow imaging capabilities across the region.
