Champion Creek had a SPOOKTACULAR last few days celebrating Halloween! 🎃

Thursday evening we brought our Trunk or Treat inside with the staff and residents decorating different stations, handing out candy to little ghosts and goblins, and enjoying the spread of treats prepared by our dietary department!

Then on Halloween we had a resident and guest Halloween party with music, delicious food, and a magician show that everyone raved about!

We hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween!

✨Our private suite is all ready for our newest admission to start her rehab journey! ✨

We are still accepting our next Champions at Champion Creek! We offer an array of services for rehabilitation and longterm care for residents in need of care after a hospital stay or need more care than can be provided in the community.

We are currently certified to accept Tradional Medicare, Traditional Medicaid, Medicaid Pending, and Private Pay.

We are accepting residents on our waitlist for the managed Medicaid and Mycare plans for private suites when we obtain those contracts.

This beautiful 97-bed community will feature all private suites, top-notch therapy services, and all the comforts of home — bringing high-quality care and modern amenities to the Amherst area.

Champion Creek was proud to be a sponsor of the Montville Township Trunk-or-Treat event held at Cobblestone Park this weekend!

The event drew hundreds of little princesses and superheroes who collected treats from our Fall-themed trunk and received flyers for our upcoming Trunk-or-Treat on October 30th at Champion Creek!

Are you aware that there are over 600 different types of pasta worldwide??

Today, we celebrated National Pasta Day by indulging in two of them. Our dining services team prepared a mouthwatering pasta buffet, which was enjoyed by our residents, staff, and guests.

We consistently receive positive feedback from our residents regarding the exceptional quality and taste of our cuisine, from breakfast to dinner, and are pleased to provide them with high-quality dishes.

Each guest selected from our potion drinks and numerous homemade pastries before creating a potion of their own!

Champion Creek, along with our sister facility Timberland Ridge, were happy to participate in the Wadsworth Older Adults Foundation Senior Fair!

This year it was a Safari theme! Monica, Sandy, and Rebecca dressed as zebras and handed out zebra cakes to hundreds of seniors while sharing information on our luxury longterm care facility!

Champion Creek returned to the Medina County Senior & Adult Services Center for a Fall craft with some of the local seniors!

Monica, our Admissions Director, led the group making suncatcher leaves that could be hung anywhere around the home and they had a great time making them!

We are wrapping up our Healthcare Food Service Workers celebration week!

🏆Shoutout to Ciana, who has been with Foundations since 2022! She is our fulltime dietary aide but also fills is as a cook when needed! She is always providing great customer service to our residents and loves to be involved with our food related activities!
🏆Shoutout to Damien and Leah who are new to Champion Creek as dietary aides, they are willing to help when needed with a smile on their face!!

Resident’s were excited to attend our second Cooking Demonstration hosted by our Dining Services Department!

This month they made homemade pierogies and explained step by step how to make them and what ingredients they used. At the end everyone was able to try some!
