Do oncoming headlights feel brighter than they used to?
Are you avoiding night driving more often?
Increased glare, halos around lights, and reduced contrast sensitivity can be linked to normal aging but they can also signal cataracts, dry eye, or other changes that deserve evaluation.
You don’t have to simply “adjust” to discomfort.
A comprehensive eye exam can determine what’s behind the change and what options may help.
Sometimes vision changes don’t feel dramatic, they show up as small adjustments.
Holding menus farther away. Squinting at your phone. Avoiding night driving. Rubbing tired eyes at the end of the day.
These subtle shifts are worth paying attention to.
Routine eye exams help identify whether those changes are simple prescription updates or early signs of something that needs monitoring.
Noticing is the first step.

Vision plays a role in nearly everything we do.
From reading emails and working on screens to driving at night or enjoying a book before bed, visual comfort supports daily life in ways we often don’t think about, until something feels off.
If you’re noticing more eye fatigue, difficulty focusing, or changes in clarity, it may be time for a comprehensive eye exam. Small adjustments can make a meaningful difference in how comfortably you move through your day.
Routine eye care isn’t just about updating your prescription.
Certain factors including age, medical history, family history, and even screen time, can increase your risk for developing eye conditions over time.
The challenge? Many serious eye diseases develop gradually and without early symptoms.
Comprehensive exams allow for monitoring, early detection, and personalized guidance based on your specific risk profile.
If any of these apply to you, it may be time to schedule a visit.
Wishing our patients and community a very happy Valentine’s Day ❤️
We’re grateful to care for the people who make the Space Coast feel like home. May your day be filled with connection, kindness, and moments worth seeing clearly.

Small changes in your vision like eye fatigue, glare sensitivity, or difficulty focusing can be easy to brush off. Noticing them is part of caring for yourself and supporting your long-term eye health.
This season is a good reminder that proactive care matters.
Macular health plays a key role in how we see details, faces, and everyday moments.
Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) affects central vision gradually over time, often without noticeable changes at first. Regular eye exams allow doctors to monitor subtle shifts early and help protect long-term vision.
Awareness is the first step in proactive eye care.
Low vision is often misunderstood and it doesn’t mean total blindness.
It refers to vision loss that can’t be fully corrected with glasses alone and may impact everyday activities like reading, driving, or adapting to changes in light. The good news? Early evaluation and proper care can help people maintain independence and quality of life.
February is Low Vision Awareness Month, and awareness starts with understanding.
