Whether this season brings you joy, reflection, stress, or a mix of it all — we want you to know there’s space for every feeling.

Some of you are savoring the moments. Some of you are just trying to get through them. Maybe you’re parenting young ones, caring for aging parents, navigating grief or estrangement, or managing pain that no one else can see. Maybe, like many of us, you’re holding joy and struggle at the same time.

Wherever you are, you are not alone. We see you, we honor your experience, and we’re so grateful that you’re a part of this community.

From all of us at Boston Pelvic Physical Therapy, we’re wishing you peace, warmth, and rest in exactly the ways you need them 💛

BPPT is hiring!

We’re looking for a part-time Office Assistant to support our growing pelvic health clinic in Melrose, MA. This is a hands-on role that blends front-desk work with everyday clinic support: welcoming patients, keeping things running smoothly, and handling all the practical tasks that keep the clinic comfortable and organized—from answering phones and ordering supplies to watering plants and tidying up common spaces.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys helping others feel at ease, doesn’t mind rolling up their sleeves, and wants flexible weekday hours as part of a warm, supportive team.

See full details at www.bostonpelvicpt.com/join-our-team and please share with anyone who might be a good fit. Candidates may send their resume to info@bostonpelvicpt.com

Can constipation cause urinary incontinence (aka leaking p*e)? Yes!

Your bladder and colon sit right next to each other in your pelvis (*cue Dr. Alex with her trusty model for the full tour*). When things get backed up, it can press on the bladder, making leaks more likely.

If you’re dealing with constipation and/or incontinence, we can help! You can easily schedule a visit here (we have last-minute openings as soon as next week): bostonpelvicpt.janeapp.com

Dr. Alex is answering the most-searched questions in pelvic health. Today’s topic: “How do you solve stress incontinence (SI)?”

Although many people are told this kind of leaking is just a part of aging or the postpartum period, the reality is more nuanced, and so is our treatment approach.

In this short video, Dr. Alex explains what SI is, why it happens, and how we help our clients address this.

Leaking may be common, but it is not “normal,” and you don’t have to just live with it. We’re here to help you regain your confidence, mobility, and quality of life.

➡️ Schedule an appointment with us quickly & easily at bostonpelvicpt.janeapp.com (we have openings available within the next week). You can also email info@bostonpelvicpt.com with any questions.

Make sure to follow us and stay tuned as we continue to answer your top pelvic health questions!

As Thanksgiving approaches, we hope you find moments of peace these next few days, whether that’s around a full table or in your own cozy company.

Though we can’t avoid *all* the holiday hustle, we *can* choose to take an extra pause here and there. Let’s linger a bit longer on whatever brings us comfort and happiness: a good book, a walk outside, a delicious slice of pie, or just stepping away from our phones and letting the rest of the world wait a minute.

If you’ve been pouring all your energy into everyone else this season, let this be a gentle reminder: *you* deserve that same love, care, and rest too.

From all of us at BPPT, we’re so grateful for you, and wish you a very Happy Thanksgiving 💛

Pelvic floor health isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why our team keeps learning.

We just got certified in Visceral Manipulation (VM1), a hands-on approach that helps us assess and treat tension in the deeper layers of the body, like the organs and connective tissues. Swipe to learn more about what this means for you.

If you’ve had pelvic or abdominal symptoms that haven’t fully responded to muscle work alone, VM might help us get to the root.

If you’re curious if VM is right for you, please reach out!
