A few benefits of kettlebell and weight training. Monday & Wednesday morning 5am-545am and Friday morning 515am-6am, on-site, in-person, small group training. Some updates:

1. There will be NO KIDS POUND on May 17th and we will be taking a hiatus for the summer, program may return in October after everyone gets settled back into school.
2. Generation:Pound (kids class) participation is a donation-based class and I am SO proud to announce that we raised $175 for the local Food for Thought charity. This is a “backpack program” that provides food for kiddos on the weekends & summers that may otherwise not have access to meals. THANK YOU to anyone that shared time with your child and your money with me! 🙏 😊
3. June - August we will bump morning (kettlebell/conditioning&core) class to 5:30am- 6:15am on M,W & F.
4. Pound:Unplugged schedule will continue as-is, Monday evenings 5:20-6pm. Walk-ins welcome! PM me with any questions

One of the things I love the most about small group/in-person classes are the chats we get to share before, after, or during
sets of exercises. Lately a hot topic at kettlebell has been oral health and the relationship it has to our overall health. Perhaps you have heard the term “Happy Mouth, Happy Body”? It’s legit. The state of inflammation and the bacteria in your mouth directly correlates to your gut health, heart health, brain health, and even indicates diabetes & other diseases like dementia, rheumatoid and autoimmune conditions and even cancer. Your mouth is literally a gateway to systemic wellness (another is your skin,but that’s a post for another day;)). This week, stop & really look at your oral tissue, especially your tongue, don’t ignore bleeding gums any longer and don’t sweep your observations under the rug, get proactive and/or preventive! Lots of great dental practices and research studies out there, also holistic resources on this topic too, my personal-fav is an ancient Indian medicine system called Ayurveda. I challenge you to become some badass gatekeepers!

So many fun workouts this week! Thanks to everyone that came for Kid’s Pound class despite the crappy roads, St Patty’s themed kettlebell & Pound:Unplugged, and conditioning & core class this morning felt SO good!

🛑 Mpower+ has a new business page! I will be deleting the current (non-business) page and private group,so please give this new one a FOLLOW (and a share if you are feeling extra generous;))

My website was just updated, so please check it out too!! I will put a link in the comments. Some VERY exciting stuff coming NEW IN APRIL including an afternoon kettlebell option for those not-as-early-risers and a monthly meditation workshop now that I am completing my certification.
