A girl on TikTok said, “Take care of yourself so you don’t become a hater,” and honestly.. that HITTT. So many women don’t realize that the haté they project onto other women often comes from unhealed envy. You’re not really mad at her , you’re frustrated that she’s doing what you want to do, but you haven’t had the energy, motivation, or mindset to start. And that’s okay! But you have to be honest with yourself..
Watching another woman work hard and glow shouldn’t make you bitter , it should remind you of what’s possible. Let it inspire you. This is your sign to pour back into yourself. Start small. Move your body. Take care of your skin. Do your hair. throw on that wig or get that silk press. Dress like you love yourself, even on the days when it’s hardest.
