💉 Why You Should Never Share Needles

Sharing used needles or syringes may seem like a negligible risk, but it can have serious and lifelong consequences. Even one shared injection can transmit infections like HIV, Hepatitis B, and Hepatitis C, along with other dangerous bacteria that can lead to severe illness.

When needles are reused, tiny amounts of blood remain inside, even if you can’t see it. That’s all it takes for infections to spread. Protecting your health starts with a straightforward choice: always use clean, sterile supplies.

Prescription Doesn’t Always Mean Safe

Even prescribed medications can be harmful if misused. Painkillers, anxiety medications, and other prescriptions are safe only when used exactly as directed. Sharing or mixing them with alcohol or other drugs can have life-threatening effects.
