As we continue the countdown to Legacy on the River, we are honored to recognize Memphis Business Academy as our Legacy of Excellence in Education Honoree.

For 20 years, Memphis Business Academy has been committed to shaping the future of our city by providing students with a strong academic foundation, leadership development, and the tools needed to succeed in college, careers, and life.

Their dedication to creating a culture of high expectations, opportunity, and character development has impacted countless students and families across Memphis.

MBA has also been a powerful partner in the work of Legacy of Legends CDC, allowing us to serve students through mentorship, trauma-informed support, and leadership programming that helps young people overcome challenges and build resilience.

On a personal note, I am especially grateful to Memphis Business Academy. They trusted my leadership and gave me the opportunity to lead and serve within their school community — making me an executive before I was officially an executive. For that, I will always be thankful.
