The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade will have grave consequences for all birthing people, especially those who are undergoing fertility treatment, have high-risk pregnancies, receive a life-limiting or fatal diagnosis for their baby, or experience any type of pregnancy loss.

The gravest consequences will be felt by those who have limited resources and face barriers to medical care, including low-income and financially disadvantaged people, residents in rural areas, and Black, Indigenous, and people of color.

I strongly believe that perinatal mental health and physical health is dependent on reproductive justice.

I support all choices made by birthing people and their trusted healthcare providers.

I will continue to offer confidential, non-judgmental, trauma informed, supportive spaces for woman. I stand with you all in solidarity and service. I honor you as women, I honor your stories, and I honor your decisions.

We are conducting focus groups with women who have been pregnant in the last 5 years and have had high blood pressure or a history of preeclampsia. All women, especially Black women are invited to participate.

The personal is political, especially when the entire culture is structured around convincing you it’s hormones, it’s all in your head, and it’s definitely not anyone else’s problem.”

When I gave birth to my daughter, my mother had dementia severe enough to require constant care. My brother was in and out of jail, and calling me nightly to demand more money. What a gift for our area families 💙

Equally as excited for this certification as when I earned my degrees in education and counseling. It’s hard being a mom when there’s so much being pushed, but I love that Baby Led Sleep teaches the importance of motherly instincts, nurturing connections, and honoring family dynamics. It’s not just about sleep, it’s about the holistic health of babies and toddlers- as well as the family.
