Spending my Friday day with a couple of Gibsons. An ES-135 that’s marked as a “Promo” on the F-hole label. Any of my Memphis Gibson factory workers have any additional info on this one from when the factory was open? It’s here for a toggle switch replacement. Also doing a setup on this beautiful Hummingbird. Standard tuning with D’Addario XS 10-47s.

First two repairs of 2026. Starting off with a Fender Custom Shop Thinline Tele that’s here for a setup, and I’m going to give it an 11 stage fret polish to smooth out the frets. Next is a Gibson Sheryl Crow signature model that’s here for a pickup repair.

I hope everyone has a relaxing day off today, and for those of us who are working, I hope it’s an easy going day for you, as well. Happy New Year, everybody!

🎆 Happy New Year! 🎇

It’s been quite a year for me. Tons of blessings, as well as some not great news regarding my health, but I’m still here, alive and kicking. Every day, I wake up and thank God for another day above ground. I’ve learned to appreciate all the things that I definitely took for granted for most of my life, and that’s a huge positive. Through all the madness of 2025, both personal and business, I am so eternally thankful for all of YOU! My customers, friends, and many of you that I absolutely consider family. You have kept me going (literally and figuratively), especially during the past couple of years with my cancer diagnosis. Thank you for your business, your kindness, and friendship.

I’m rolling into 2026, praying it’s a better year for everyone. Things are tough for a lot of us right now, but we’ve muscled through another year, and we can do it again. I love all of you guys so much, and I thank God for you every single night. Thank you for trusting me with your instruments, and I look forward to seeing all of my regulars this year, as well as meeting plenty of new players that find their way to me through word of mouth, the internet, or just stopping in Circle Music to check things out. You guys are awesome, and I’m honored to be your guitar tech!

Thank you for a wonderful, successful 2025, and here’s to an even better 2026!

💙 Adam

My last post for 2025. Worked a short day today, but got some stuff done, including this vintage Fender Coronado II that was here for a wiring repair, and a Squier PJ Bass here for a setup.

I’ll make an official New Year’s post tomorrow, but I definitely want to thank everyone for their business and friendship over the past year. And to all of my pros out there playing tonight, please be extra careful on the road to and from the gig. Enjoy your NYE, everybody.

Two guitars in a row that are in for a setup and a dead bridge pickup. Pretty crazy. Let’s figure out what’s going on with this Gibson Les Paul, and get it playing right with a set of D’Addario 10-46s in standard tuning.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, yesterday! Mine was really nice, but it’s time to get back to this line of guitars.

🎄It’s officially Christmas Day. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday, and maybe you’ll even get some cool, new guitar gear under the tree!

🎄Merry Christmas to all of my friends out there. I am so grateful for each and every one of you. Enjoy your time off, and I’ll see you guys on Monday up at the shop.

🎄Luke 2:11-14 (NIV): “Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”

Finished out Christmas Eve with this excellent Xotic Tele! It was here for a pesky, buzzing high E string, and a setup in E flat with D’Addario NYXL 10-46s.

🎄Friendly reminder, the shop is closed until Saturday, so you will need to wait until then to drop off or pick up your instruments. I brought plenty of guitars to work on during the break because the to-do pile is getting insane. So keep an eye out for posts from the home base over the next several days. I will be taking Christmas off to be with my family, though. I hope everyone has a very blessed Christmas holiday, and for those of you that have to spend the holiday alone, don’t forget that God is always with you. Blessings are all around you, so I hope you can find joy in that. 🙏🏻
