TGIF, folks. Here’s a few from today. A Gretsch acoustic that needed some fretwork and a setup, a Fender Mustang Bass here for a setup, and a Fender HSS Strat for some fretwork, electronics repair, a setup, and a major de-rusting on those neglected saddles. Almost had to replace those bad boys, but I got them to move by the Grace of our Good Lord. 🙏🏻

🚨BOOKED UNTIL 4/18/26 - PATREON ONLY

I’ve been putting this off for as long as I could, but I have to post it now. I am booked for at least a month. The date I have listed is just tentative, but for now, that’s what I’m going to shoot for. Hopefully, I’ll be able to catch up quicker and will open the books sooner, but I’ll have to see what unfolds. I have over 60 guitars in line between the two shops I work for, as well as several large projects that are getting ignored to get to the more basic repairs. I’ve been working 7 days a week trying to stay on top of things, but guitars keep rolling in faster than I can get them done. It’s a huge blessing, and I’m so grateful for all of you, but I have to put on the brakes for a moment. Thank you for your business, your patience, and your friendship.

Productive day so far at the home base. Finished up the Epiphone from last night, then moved on to a Gibson Custom Shop ‘58 Reissue Les Paul and a Yamaha APX700, both in for setups. I’m about to start on this Bedell, and will hopefully have it done before the end of the night. Have a great week, everybody.

Happy Sunday, friends. I’ve got a small project rolling here. This Epiphone Les Paul is getting a complete overhaul. All new electronics from Performance Music Company, new Seymour Duncan ‘59s, new Gotoh hardware, and a setup with D’Addario XS 10-46s. We’ve got bad storms coming in tonight, Memphis, so everybody try to be safe and prepared!

Getting Saturday rolling with a setup on this Fender Tele for a Patreon member. Standard tuning with D’Addario XS 11-49s. It’s a beautiful day outside, today. Happy Friday, friends. Had these two on the bench today. A partscaster “Stratomaster” for my friends in Louder Than Bombs for some fretwork, an electronics diagnosis and setup, and a Fender acoustic for some saddle work and a setup. Have a great weekend, everybody.

🗓️FYI - I’ll be working from home until Thursday (and maybe Friday), so if you’re stopping by the shop next week to see me, I won’t be there. I have something going on the first few days of the week, so I need to stay around the house to not miss the scheduled appointments.
