Job Description
We are seeking a Retail Store Manager for our Oakland, Stockdale's location. If you are an enthusiastic, energetic leader with innovative ideas, who has 3 or more years in Retail Store Management experience, come join our team.
Stockdale’s currently operates six locations across Tennessee and Southern Kentucky. Stockdale’s is the shopping destination of choice for items to pamper your pets and horses, top-of-the-line clothing and footwear for all types of activities, outdoor equipment for hunting and camping, lawn and gardening gear, country-inspired gifts and decor, supplies for farming operations and much more.

Job Responsibilities
• Store Mangers are responsible for a variety of duties including overall store operations and performance, recruiting, training and evaluating team members.

• Be an ambassador of the brand and instill the Stockdale's Vision, Mission, Core Values and culture in the entire team.
• Ensure the highest level of Customer Service within the store and offer a clean, friendly and welcoming environment.
• Ensure all customer service issues are effectively resolved in a timely manner.
• Ability to analyze and interpret store reports, sales and payroll budgets.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and ensure compliance by the team.
• Have creative ability to merchandise and market products within the store.
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills and knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Requirements
• Must be able to read, write, count and communicate effectively.
• Must have at least 3 years of retail store manager experience.
• Must have a current Driver's license.
• Able to work flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must meet physical requirements of standing, walking, sitting, kneeling, stooping, bending.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to learn & use company equipment.
