Today was special. It's First Responders Appreciation Day.

We were honored to host Memphis first responders & their leadership at our Crisis Wellness Center for a behind-the-scenes look at how Alliance Healthcare Services partners with police, fire, sheriff, and EMTs to serve individuals in mental health crisis.

When emergency responders and behavioral health providers work together, our community is safer and more compassionate. Thank you to all the first responders who protect Shelby County every day and who trust us to be part of the solution.

We're bursting with pride to announce that Alliance Healthcare Services has been named 2025 Peer Conference Agency of the Year!

This recognition reflects the dedication of our entire team in providing compassionate, peer-driven support across Shelby County.

But our incredible Peer Center Supervisor, Marta Hernandez, was also honored as Peer Mentor of the Year – and she had no idea it was coming!

Marta's commitment to walking alongside those on their recovery journey embodies everything peer support stands for. She leads with empathy, authenticity, and an unwavering belief in the power of lived experience.

Today, on World Mental Health Day, we were honored to welcome Senator Marsha Blackburn to Alliance Healthcare Services for a tour of our Crisis Wellness Center and meeting with our leadership team.

Thank you, Senator Marsha Blackburn, for taking the time to see firsthand the critical work being done to address mental health needs in Shelby County and across Tennessee.
