Imagine a massage in the salt cave that melts away tension and brings relief. Now offering TMJ Cranial Bodywork, Table Stretching, Headache/Migraine treatment, Deep Tissue, Sciatica, Myofascial Release, and so much more at the Better Bodies Salt Caves, meet Alexis White!

Working as a massage therapist in Memphis since 2014, Alexis approaches therapeutic body work with compassion and a problem solving mind set. Her background includes working in holistic spas and coordinating client care with Acupuncturists, Physical therapists and Chiropractors.

Alexis believes massage therapy and client education is important in bringing awareness to our minds and bodies and how they are connected. Each sessions is customized with the clients goal in mind to provide pain relief, relaxation, and improved neuromuscular function.

She’s spent the last 11 years developing a skill set that includes Trigger point therapy, TMJ Cranial Bodywork, Table Stretching, Sports Massage, Headache/Migraine treatment, Deep Tissue, Sciatica, Myofascial Release, Thoracic Release, cupping, and Acupressure and lymphatic drainage for sinuses.

When not working at the massage table, you might see them in a hot yin class or exploring the green spaces the city has to offer.

Ashtanga classes are cancelled Nov 10-14! Teachers are always students first, and Michele and Tracie will be in Encinitas, CA at the birthplace of Ashtanga in the USA, studying with Manju Jois, the most senior lineage-bearer of this transformative practice. Michele and Tracie are excited to continue their learning with Manju and their teacher Greg Tebb, and to pass it on to you. Classes resume (if the travel blessings uphold) on Saturday Nov 15.

In this non-intimidating discussion-based session, you'll ground yourself through seated breath work and chant the Shantih (peace) mantras, followed by a lesson on all things Mysore Ashtanga such as:

• How is it possible to sequence a mix of postures from all series?
